Consult about the regimen of transportation for the transfer of the following type of baggage:

In case a passenger wishes to transport fragile or voluminous equipment on cabin, he/she will be able to do it occupying one or more additional seats. For this purpose, he/she will have to request it whenever he/she is making the booking, 12 hours in advance. The charge that will apply will be the 100% of the corresponding fare of the original booking per each extra seat. In no case baggage of more 75 kilos per seat shall be accepted and which volume not permitted adjusts it to the safety belt.

For the transportation of a guitar, due to thedimensions exceeding the hand luggage allowance, it must be packed in a hard case and checked in as baggage. If the passenger arrives at the check-in counter with the guitar packed in a soft cover, it may be possible for itto be carried on board prior confirmation fromcrew that there is sufficientroom to stow a guitar.
SPORTIVE KITS
Important:

Sporting Equipment listed below may be transported as registered baggage, being included or excluded from the free passenger allowance (forming or not part of the allowance) or may be transported free of charge in some occasions, depending on the equipment and the route, The following definitions must be taken into account:

Sports equipment free of charge: the passenger can transport them free of charge, in addition to the permitted allowance. In these cases, the specifications and elements that make up each team will be considered.

Sporting equipment included in the permitted free baggage allowance: the passenger can transport them as part of the permitted allowance. They will be subject to the payment of excess charges when the luggage which the passenger carries exceeds the maximum number of pieces or weight allowed.

Sporting equipment not included in the permitted free baggage allowance: the passenger can transport sporting equipment that is not part of the Permitted allowance by paying for the for excess baggage charges corresponding to the sporting equipment to be carried.

Golf Equipment
(A bag with a set of golf clubs + a pair of shoes)
By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- One Golfing set is considered as part of the free allowance.
- Additional Equipment: the established excess fee willl apply for the additional equipment PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT.

Regional / International
- One Golfing set is considered part of the free allowance subject to a maximum weight of 15 kilos.
- If the permitted allowance is exceeded or aditional checked equipment is over 15 kilos, excess will be charged per kilo according to the route to be flown.

Per Pieces International
- ONE golf set of 158 cm is considered a piece regardless of its actual dimensions and is considered as part of the free allowance.
- If the equipment exceeds the permitted allowance or an additional piece transported normal excess charge will apply (basic charge).

Ski boots and suit for snow or water / snowboard By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- One Ski set for snow or wter/snowboard may be checked in as part of the free allowance.
- Additional Equipment: the established excess fee willl apply for the additional equipment PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT.

(A pair of skis for snow + a pair of boots + a pair of sticks or a pair of skis for waterskiing or a snowboard + un pair of boots) Regional / International
- One Ski set is considered as part of th free baggage allowancce.
- If the permitted allowance is exceeded or aditional checked equipment is over the allowance excess will be charged per kilo according to the route to be flown.

Per Pieces International
- ONE skiing equipment of 158cm is considered a piece regardless of its actual dimensions and is considered part of the free allowance.
- If the equipment exceeds the permitted allowance, 33% of the basic charge will apply.
- Additional pieces - normal excess charge will apply (basic charge).

Fishing Tackle By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- One Fishing equipment is considered part of the allowance.
- Additional Equipment: the established excess will apply for the additional equipment PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT.

(Two fishing poles + a reel + a net + a pair of boots + a box of fishing tackle) Regional / International
- One fishing equipment is considered as part of the free allowance subjet to a maximum weight of 15 kilos.
- If the permitted allowance is exceeded or aditional checked equipment is over 15 kilos, excess will be charged per kilo according to the route to be flown.

Per Pieces International
- One equipment of 158 cm is considered a piece regardless of actual dimensions and is considered part of the free allowance.
- If the equipment exceeds the permitted allowance or an additional piece transported, normal excess charge will apply (basic charge).

Surf equipments and others
(surfboard, wakeboard, sand board or similar)
By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- Surfing gear is not part of the free allowance.
- Excess will apply PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT.

Regional / International
- Surfing gear is not part of the free allowance.
- One checked surfboard will be charged as follows:

   * a surfboard not exceeding 277 cm.: the equivalent to 5 kilos of excess baggage will be charged.
   * a surfboard over 277 cm: the equivalent of 8 kilos of excess baggage will be charged.

- For the transportation of additional equipment excess chage per kilo will apply according to the sector to be flown.

Per Pieces International
- Surfing gear is not part of the free allowance.
- One checked piece is permitted at at change equivalent to 50% of basic charge.
- If the allowance is exceeded or an additional piece is transported, normal excess charge will apply.

Hunting Equipment By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- One Hunting kit is considered part of the allowance.
- If the allowance (baggage+equipment) is exceeded, a charge will apply according to the chart (range) that corresponds to the excess kilos checked in (See Domestic Excess Baggage Chart).
- Additional Equipment: the established excess will apply for the additional equipment PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT .

( A case with /two rifles + 5 kilos of munitions + a target for /shots + suppressors of sound + small tools or two shot gun and its two cases or a case with/ 5 air guns + 5 kg de munitions + suppressors of sound + small tools) Regional / International
- One Hunting kit is considered part of the allowance.
- If the permitted allowance is exceeded or aditional equipment is checked, excess per kilo willl apply according to the route to be flown.

Consult through Transportation of Weapons Per Pieces International
- ONE equipment of 158cm is considered a piece regardless of its actual dimensions and forms part of the free allowance.
- If the allowance is exceeded or to transport an additional piece, normal excess charge will apply ( basic charge).

Transportation of Bicycles By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- The transportation of one bycile is considered part of the allowance, therefore it may be checked in without paying any excess as long as it does not exceed the permitted weight for the route.
- If the allowance (baggage+equipment) is exceeded, a charge will apply according to the chart (range) that corresponds to the excess kilos checked in (See Domestic Excess Baggage Chart).
- Additional Equipment: the established excess will apply for the additional equipment PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT.

(Of one seat with bent handlebars, removed pedals, flat tires, in a rigid container) Regional / International
- The transportation of one bycicle is considered part of the allowance.
- If the permitted allowance is exceeded or aditional equipment is checked, excess per kilo willl apply according to the route to be flown.

Per Pieces International
- One bicycle of 158cm is considered a piece , regardless of its actual dimensions.
- The transportation of ONE bicycle is considered part of the allowance, therefore may be checked in without paying any excess as long as it does not exceed the permitted dimensions for the route.
- If the allowance is exceeded or to transport and additional piece, normal excess charge will apply (basic charge).

Diving Equipment By Weight Domestic Flights Service
- Diving equipment is not part of the free allowance.
- Charges will apply to transport Diving Equipment: the established excess will apply for the additional equipment PER CHECKED KILO of ARS16,53 plus VAT (12ARS total). Fights to/from Tierra del Fuego are excempt of VAT.

(Two tubes of oxygen – empty and in hold - + wet suit + a pair of flippers) Regional / International
- Diving Equipment is considered as part of the free allowance.
- For the transportation of additional equipment excess chage per kilo will apply according to the sector to be flown.

Per Pieces International
- Diving equipment is not part of the free allowance.
- Normal excess charge will apply (basic charge).

Note: If a passenger transports 2 (two) or more sportive kits of different types (eg: golf equipment and fishing equipment), special charge will apply for one of them only. All others will be accepted by applying the corresponding excess charges.

Current safety rules prohibit the transportation of any of these objects on cabin that is the reason for which they will be dispatched in hold as registered baggage.
Weapons will have to be unloaded, dismantled and packed according to the requested safety rules. br> Munitions and cartridge will have to be transported in its original package or in a box separated from cells. br> Neither munitions with explosive or incendiary head, nor war armament shall be accepted to be transported shall be accepted under no circumstances.
Passengers pertaining to Security Organizations who travel with weapons carrying (revolver, pistol), will have to use the weapon cover or to dispatch it as cargo.
Documentation
Departure
Passengers who travel overseas with a weapon must have reached the age of majority and to evidence that he/she is legitimate user of it through the pertinent documentation issued by the National Registry Office of Weapons (R.E.N.A.R).
 
Entrance
Passengers who come into the country with a weapon, they must have reached the age of majority and count on the authorization for its possession of his/her country of origin, where must appear: type, brand, model, calibre, number of series and munitions.'.

Weapons Container
Passengers (security organisms and /or guards) who have carrying weapons will have to show them to the Security Control Authority of the Airport.
The weapon will be unloaded in an isolated sector and packed together with the munitions and/or cartridge clips in the Weapon Container, which will be sealed with a security pre-package and it will carry a label.
The passenger will have to request it at destiny to the traffic staff, presenting the corresponding receipt.
ASH TRANSPORT (HUMAN REMAINS)
Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral accepted transporting cremated human remains (ashes) in an urn, which the passenger must carry in hand baggage.

- Death Certificate.
- Certificate of Cremation

On International flights:
- Death certificate, original and copy
- Certificate of Cremation, original and copy
- Certificate of Shipment issued by the Office of Border Health at the Airports
- Visation or Consulate authorization of the country of destination / transit, or La Haya Apostille.
TRANSPORTATION OF HUMAN ORGANS
Aerolíneas Argentinas performs the Transportation of Human Organs for Operations of Transplant, exclusively under a request of the Central National Institute Unique Coordinator of Donations and Implants (I.N.C.U.C.A.I.). The presentation will have to be made 30 minutes in advance at the airport, complying with the requisites of documentation and corresponding package.
